This all started when my daughter came home from her first year of sleepaway camp complaining about all the cool stuff other kids had that she didn’t. She wasn’t upset about the experience (she LOVED camp), but she felt like she was missing that extra spark of confidence, identity, and excitement that comes from having something special that feels like you.

So I started designing. First for her and my son. Then for their friends. Then for full bunks, sports teams, local organizations — and suddenly this little idea turned into something much bigger.

I realized that custom merch isn’t just clothing. It’s belonging. It’s energy. It’s expression. It’s a way to stand out in the best possible way. And while camp will always be part of our story, we’re not just camp — we’re so much more.

Today, Felix Rae Designs (named after my two kids) is my creative studio built on that same mission: making style personal, fun, high-quality, and never basic. I design custom apparel and interactive merch experiences for camps, events, teams, schools, brands, and organizations — for anyone who wants something totally their own and unforgettable.

From milestone moments and special events to everyday wear that feels anything but ordinary, every piece is designed to create connection and confidence. And I still get the same thrill I did from that very first piece, knowing someone will put it on and instantly feel cool, confident, and one-of-a-kind.
